“PD 1st Brooks-Lowes Pugalicious Provocateur. Stunning! Small cobby fawn in spectacular coat, short, level topline, straightest of fronts, reach of neck resulting in good forechest and front legs set well under, strong, well muscled rear, chunky bum and high set, tight tail. His head is coming along as you would expect for still a youngster with good work, dark lustrous eyes, well open nostrils, wide underjaw, black pigment on well set ears and mask. He was in his lovely fine jacket and couldn’t be ignored. He showed beautifully and moved true, front and rear with the slight pug roll. I never thought I would have given a puppy the first cc i ever awarded but he deserved it on the day, he pushed very hard for best of breed. I sincerely hope he developes with the same promise he displayed today. CC his first. Well done.” Robert Hitchcock

“Toy Group 2 the Pug Ch Pugalicious Provocateur JW. I adore this dog’s overall type and quality. For me, his headpiece is simply perfection, and I could look into his superb face for an eternity. He possesses many other outstanding features to admire. Sometimes a bit of a handful to handle, but today he stood and showed to perfection. Still a young dog, his best is yet to come, and I expect him to figure prominently in Toy Group’s of the future. An outstanding representative of the breed. “ Geofffrey Davies

Large, round head carrier on strong neck, well set on ears, thin and soft texture. Short muzzle with large black nose with open nostrils and wide underjaw. Short, smooth coat and good pigment. Very lively temperament and moved with plenty of life, so pleased to see him go Group 2 later in the day, and still looks as though he had plenty of get up and go. DCC& BOB.” Liz Stannard

“Toy Group 2 was a really smashing Pug. Ch Pugalicious Provocateur JW  Fawn with a trace, gorgeous head, tremendous wrinkle and expression, diamond, not overdone over the nostrils which were wide. Gorgeous eyes, large and shiny. Velvety black ears. Pleasing crest, solid body and ribbing, firm not fat. Straight front and deep chest. Twist was just right. Well muscled at the rear. Coat of super texture. Beautiful condition. Moving with style and not a huff not puff in sight. Not overdone in anyway.“ Annette Oliver

“I was naturally delighted to see my BOB win G2 under Annette Oliver. After all the negative publicity, CH Pugalicious Provocateur JW is a great ambassador for the breed....   OP It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to go over so many overseas dogs, but the clear winner was 1 Brooks-Lowe’s CH Pugalicious Provocateur JW, who truly impressed me, filling the requirements of the Breed Standard. Vey masculine with an outstanding head, perfectly wrinkled head and eyes full of fire, neat ears and good width of muzzle. Well boned and deep bodied with a good reach of neck, legs well under with neat feet and he moved with purpose. I was pleased to award him DCC, BOB and watch him gain G2.” Alison Mount
